Just a little bit of news from home. The Denver Metropolitan visited the DFW area to see the Ancient Christian Art exhibit at the Kimbell, and on the first night here, his crown, bible, and some vestments were stolen from him in Father Michaels car, while they were eating in a restaurant in Arlington. It made the news big time—the local papers, NPR, even the BBC had a report on it. And we had 3 camera crews in on Sunday’s liturgy, just so they could talk about the theft. I know they say bad publicity is still publicity, but I’d much rather they did a nice story on the Ancient Art or the richness of our service, then the usual sensationalist tripe. Anyway, just thought you guys would be interested, or may have even heard while you were over there. Take care. Our prayers are with you!
