What a great story to conclude your India adventure. I am thankful that you made it safely in and out, and enjoyed your time while there. I must say I was a bit nervous that you were going there, but now I don’t worry as much anymore. You’re both doing great, and have such positive attitudes about all the good and bad things you’re experiencing. I hope your health has been restored, and you’re enjoying the next destination. Will you continue to encounter the squat toilets in other places? You’re so brave.

The pictures were fantastic. The Taj was beautiful! Those monkeys were kind of creepy though. And, I couldn’t help but to think about Sweeney Todd as I watched the bear getting a REAL shave!

Thank you for the pictures and postings – they keep me entertained, at ease about your well-being, and make me feel like I’m right there with you! I love you!

You are truly an amazing writer. Your heart felt expressions of your love for my son are very touching. Your words are amazing.

It took me a long time to find him but then, one day, there he was, doing that half stand-up thing as I approached the dinner table at the J-Bar in Tucson…my Bear. I’ve been flying ever since.” this quote has cemented the phrase I tell folks all the time when I talk about you. That is “I didn’t lose a son, I gained a daughter.”

I am also very happy that I had the opportunity to spend Christmas in Iowa with the entire Whitehead clan. You have a wonderful family. I felt right at home and it was one of the most relaxing Holidays I have had in a long time.

Everyone should feel the love, be loved and love as you express regularly about Aaron. I am amazed and impressed that you believe “that God created Aaron to be my husband”. Indeed he did and you chose well.

Please ask Aaron to give you a five-minute hug from Mom!
